Is is my imagination, or is there anyone else out there that feels that perhaps the windshield trim is inadequate?
It just seems that there is a hole on the top by the roof that could potentially let water in, and the fin that runs along the actual window...seems very substandard.
Any other thoughts?...Is the a TSB out there to make it better?
Just wondering.

I saw that too. I gess it's because it's the cheapest jeep on the market so the finition is not that pretty.

This was an old post i put here..
regardless, since that time I took it back into the dealer, and they ordered new moulding both sides, and re-installed it.
Its much tighter now..and for the most part it ok.
Have a look at how they designed this same moulding on the Compass..or (ultimatley these best approach), the calibre.

You're right but I still think that the windshield trims are cheap...it look like there is no join between the glass and the window frame....

Very cheap...and mark my words...you will only make it worse if you scrape the ice from your windshield the wrong way...

Cheep is an understatment. About a month ago a rock hit my windsheld, when the guy came to replace it he had me sign a paper stating how bad the trim looked so I could not make a claim against the company for poor workmanship. The good news is the windshields are well seated.
