My riot is an 08 and travels our dirt road about 6 times a day. The dashboard under the windshield collects every dirt and dust particle that comes in. I've Armor-Alled and Windexed to no avail. The dust is quickly attracted. Are there any cleaners that deter settling dust or something easier to use than scrubbing at the dash?

Dirt road here also.. Meguiar's Quik Interior Mist and Wipe Detailer works very well.

I second both opinions, clean it with a damp rag, then use the meguiars stuff. Also, if yours didn't come with a cabin air filter, check into that. It will help keep the dust out.

I use Lucas Oil Interior Detailer. Doesnt attract the dust like ArmorAll, and has a pleasant, clean scent. (Not that I put much stock in such trivialities, but the ladies seem to prefer clean and pleasant to fish slime and wet dog for some reason...)

Use protectant that doesn't produce oily protecting film so it won't attract dust and dirt much.

If I've been lazy and I get an accumulation, I use one of those small automotive detailing "California" dusters. The local flea market sells knock-offs for a buck, (I wouldn't pay much more that). Then a quick followup with a damp cloth, if needed. If things aren't too bad, just the damp cloth works fine for me as well. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_02821405000P?sid=IDx20070921x00003a&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=02821405000P

Years ago, before a lot of the products they have today, I used to use Endust.
