DaimlerChrysler Canada releases Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD pricing
The Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD, powered by a Mercedes-Benz 3.0L diesel engine rated at 215hp and 376 lb-ft. of torque, will start at $48,750 CAD for Laredo models and will climb to $55,805 CAD for the Overland edition. The 3.0L common rail turbo-diesel engine was recently named one of the “Ward’s Ten Best Engines” for 2007.
Fuel efficiency ratings for the Grand Cherokee CRD are about 30% better than a conventional gasoline model. Towing capacity is a stout 7,200 lbs. while cruising range increases to an impressive 725km.
The Grand Cherokee CRD (Common-Rail Diesel) will be in showrooms next month.
