Long way off, but if I can I'll try to go. I'm going to Alaska next summer though, and not sure yet when, but probably July or August, so will have to see how that works out.

You'll probably need to keep an eye on this thread, and "bump" it now and then to keep it in mind for folks.

Should we get a booth for the forum? JeepPatriot.com?
http://www.bantamjeepfestival.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/Jeep-Club-Booth-Request-Form-with-Fields.pdf

I could print some cards, or fliers, or something to hand out with the web address. I also would print a large banner with the logo and web address for the booth. And maybe print some Patriot Posters. (I have 3 with photos from our winter meet last year hanging in my garage) They look like those inspirational posters with sayings on them, but the saying on this is from Todde: "Plowed roads are for wimps". I can change the photos though, and the saying, but I like those, and my Patriot is on them.

Just saw an ad for the festival in this travel mag, I picked up. Was thinking about posting a thread, glad I did some searching first!
They have a class for Patriots. I'm thinking of doing the parade, as its really cheap to enter. Keep me posted, if any of you guys are going.

Reads like good fun. Almost worth a 5 hour drive for a weekend when there's diddly-squat going on around here (at least for where cross-over 4x4s are welcomed)...hmmm

What ya mean for cross overs? Theres squat goin on around DC for jeeps in general. :p (used to live in lorton, now MD)

The closest fun is GWNF and Green Ridge. Havnt been to GWNF yet, but im sure ur rig would handle it.

Very capable crossover-based Jeeps is what I meant  , LOL... but the "elitist" sometimes glare and think otherwise (still quite a few think our MK's are based off of the Neon!?!?).

Made it out to GWNF (Flagpole run, in opposite of what the guys I went out there with normally do). Made a newbie mistake and got hung up on large jagged rock but a little manual push and a hint of burnt rubber got me over. Otherwise it did really well and surprised the Wrangler guys and myself. Only bent a couple inches of the crossrail under the passenger side a little, bent it back with pliers and touched it up to prevent [more] rust over the summer...this was before I had rock rails.

Any other's in Mid-Atlantic thinking about going?

I'm still not sure what's going on this summer for me yet, but this is not too far from me, so if folks are still coming,. keep posting in this thread. Here's the dates, since I didn't see them posted here yet.

The first annual Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival will take place August 12-14, 2011. Make plans to celebrate Jeep in the place where it all began. Butler, Pa…birthplace of the jeep.

If you plan on coming for this, please let everyone know by posting here.

I'm registered with a few friends to attend. We'll be doing this in lieu of our annual "Old Farts' Jeep Jamboree Reunion" trail ride. I probably won't have the Patriot there, unless gasoline gets really high.

Hmm, Butler is less than a 2 hour drive for me and it looks like good fun :) At the very least, I think I will bring my sons, not sure if the wife will tag along.

As much as I REALLY, really, REALLY, wanted to go, I am burning through leave like crazy next few months for finally meeting in-laws and an family mini-vacation, and that is the week of final-exams for my college courses
...and I got the gear for camping and making it "show ready" too!
