hey guys i was thinking about getting a set of lowering springs for my compass, anyone else done this? ive never done springs before so i was looking for tips or advice. thx everyone

If you're not mechanically inclined, I would let a pro do it. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would put that mod on the 8. You'll need spring compressors, jack stands and your basic hand tools and most importantly the mechanical ability to do it SAFELY.

It's been done, but it's not all that well documented here.

It's not an easy job to do, but if you have a buddy who knows his way around a car and access to spring clamps, you could get it done in a day, no problem. By yourself, it'll take a full weekend, for sure.

Make sure you get an alignment done afterward!
