Some good points in the article. Not tackling the Rubicon with it is also interesting to say the least.

Interesting they think only 10% of those who purchase the Patriot will want the trail-rated version...perhaps because of the decrease in fuel economy and the extra cost and the fact that most buyers aren't interested in going off-road any further than a gravel road or snowy highway...

The Rubicon is hard core off-roading. people that do that type of driving will not buy a Patriot. They will buy a Wrangler.

Interesting article, out here I expect 90% of the Patriots to have FD2, looking at the local Dodge/Jeep dealer yesterday 90% of the Calibers had AWD and 95% of the Compasses had 4x4/FD1.
