So I am not sure if this is bad or could damage anything but the other night I picked up a pizza and remembered :doh: that the empty passenger seat was also heated. I hit the switch and it did a nice job of keeping the pizza warm :).

Yes, they have a cooling compartment (in fact is not a cooler but a keep-cool cubby). One of the things I miss on the Pat.

its fine for keeping already cold items cold. Interesting fact with it tho: just after i got my caliber, (January 07) i left 4 water bottles in the cooler, and a bottle in the cupholder in the center console. In the morning, the bottle in the center console cupholder was frozen solid, but the bottles in the cooler were cold, but not frozen. The only time that the "Chill Zone" doesnt work is in the middle of the summer and it is sitting in a parking lot in the sun. Otherwise its great, I wish that the patriot had it instead of that open cubby on the passenger side of the dash.

I find the heated seats...with a bit of tweaking...to be just perfect for getting a cast iron skillet to the correct temp for frying eggs.. you wouldnt beleive the time I save each morning by cooking en route to work...
