BTW: Do you prepare your Pat for beach drives because sand and salt is one of the biggest car enemies?

i spray it down after every beach day.

I remember those days. Drivin down ISB and takin a right to go south on the beach. Bikinis around sunsplash park. I used to spend a lot of time at the inlet. I will miss that...

This man knows whats up! ISB = International Speedway Blvd, i'm on that road too much. Bike week was killer, hated the traffic, my high school is right next to daytona international speedway.

a little off the subject, but i think waikiki is the most famous beach in the world. but thats just my opinion.

What about Omaha beach?
There are more candidates: Bondi beach in Australia, Playa del Carmen in México, Malibu beach and Miami beach in the U.S., Varadero in Cuba and Ipanema and Copacabana in Brazil of course.

I'm sure if you are 18 or 80, Daytona beach is one of the world's best...

Hey! what about my Cancun beach?? Also one of the most reknown beaches around the globe.
It doesn't matter what beach one is in...I'm pretty sure the Pat looks great in every of them!!

They say "World Famous" For Daytona because you can drive on it. not too many beaches can you drive on.

well daytona is certainly well known. yup. those look like the towers at the inlet area north of flagler ave......
but im here in the bay area...what do i know.
have a YUENGLING for me. we dont get them here. enjoy, its still one of the top brews, micro brew or not.

one thing falls flat for me at Daytona; any car can drive on it. Kind of kills the 'Jeepness' about it, ya know? I would like to go where no 2wd vehicle has gone before.. :blah:

Daytona is pretty much the last place where you can drive onto the beach... (here in the states...) Sometimes...
When I was there in May, the ocean was coming up to high too let people on... But, I made it...
Didn't have to worry about flushing out the salt afterward either... After three days of rain... the streets flooded and some places I drove through had 15 inches of water...!

The 2 wheel drives are not supposed to go on NC beaches but some still try. Maybe I will post some pictures of them stuck in the sand.

Yep, I've been to the beach. Just about every weekend from March til November.

Usually I take my Ram, but I drove the 'Riot there twice last year.

Looks like a cadillac can drive on that beach please do better than that
