First off I would start with mood music, turn the lights down low, give 'em a little alcohol to loosen 'em up...

If your asking that question, you might want to take it to a mechanic. but if doing it yourself start by buying a repair manual/CD from your dealership. There is a thread on this site with a link to a repair manual try the search function above.

Always remember to block the tires to keep the vehicle from rolling. If your good you can do it with the wheels on. I havn't had to service the breaks on the Patriot yet, but I would assume it is similar to every other car I have done.

Why do you need to bleed the brakes on a nearly new vehicle? Damage to lines, worn calipers, etc. ??

As most new cars have a dual system, I'd recommend having a shop do it--they can put a pressurized unit on the master cylinder, raise the vehicle and go around to the wheels in just a few minutes. If you solicit a friend to "piump and hold" the brake pedal about a hundred times--and don't forget to replentish the fluid level or you'll get to start over...

Spend the $25-50--it's worth it!
