This is my biggest concern about the Patriot, how is the engine going to perform/handle. I've gotten use to my big 8 in the grand and not sure I can go all the way down to the 2.4.

Any reviews/comments appreciated.

honestly its fine - for a 4 banger. It's actually very comparible to a lot of todays lower end v-6's (not the RAV's v-6 or the high output 3.5!! more like the 2.7)

you may be better off in a v-6 tho...thats a big step down from that v-8. I have a weak 2L 4 banger....this is a step up for me ;)
