Well folks, after hearing me extoll the virtues of my Patriot for a year, watching me drive to work (taking the long way) in the snow while most of the neighbors were stuck in their drive, and watching me pack an enormous amount of camping equipment into my Pat and drive 900 miles to Michigan on vacation (and getting 29 mpg BTW...) my roommate broke down and bought a 2010 Compass. Nice car. 2wd with all the toys. Great deal from the same guys I got my Pat from. Gave her $2000 over Blue Book for her 08 Focus and $1000 off sticker + 1.9% financing. Some things on the Compass I wish I had on my '09 FDI Pat....Lighted cupholders, foglights and heated mirrors. I think Ill trade mine in next summer for an '11 FDII.

Heated mirrors would be nice, although over the last couple winters, mine have been fine. I think your 4wd trumps her extras.
