My Pat wont spin over 5800 without getting into the limiter. The redline is shown as being roughly 6500 rpm. Anyone else have this problem or am I the only one running the crap out of mine?

My CVT2L with FDII will jack up to 6K if I throttle it. Prolly the computer keeping it all back from the redline. A manual tranny should be able to determine if redline can be achieved without limiter intervention.

it can go to 6 on a stick, the redline isnt actually the red line, its 200 rpm higher, these lil 2.4 should spin to 7-7500 no problem, with the limmiter removed, ( but there is no power increse after 6000 rpm)

Do you think I am taking advantage of that lifetime powertrain warranty?

With the rev limiter set that low - you dont have to worry, hehe.
