Not that I'm looking for every review to be glowing, this guy sounded like he didn't even drive the Patriot. And if he was actually at the press event why would they use the press photo from last year and the Freep photo from December?

Waste of a read. We already know it looks good and has a basic interior. Wow he can quote stats. Nothing on handling, performance, storage, comfort or even an in depth on the features.

Well, Car and Driver ain't much different than Road and Track. They are used to dealing exclusively with high end rigs, and since they are kinda vehicle snobs, I am surprised they even bother with any Jeep product. Reviews in the various off-road mags carry more weight with me.

Wow, for someone who is surprised that the Patriot has a manual window and a simple interior in a jeep for under 15K, he didn't say much about the 30 MPG hwy your going to get on your way up to the mountains. I think the last car this guy reviewed was the Ferrari 360 Spider. This guys probably never seen a dirt road his whole life, let alone knows how a Jeep can be simple and yet still be effective. IT'S A JEEP, NOT A BENTLEY !!
