I thought it would be interesting to see the differences in the original Willys motor and the new 2.2

Don't you mean 2.4L? That would convert to roughly 147ci if I am doing my math correctly.

I'm overhauling my M38's engine right now--those specs look pretty accurate to me!

In fact, some quick math using those bore and stroke specs reveals a 147 cu.in. displacement, or 2.4L.
