anyone needing to make room for a new patriot? i'm looking to pick up an inexpensive old cherokee for myself so that my current vehicle can be sold to get my wife/both of us a patriot. anyway, i figure there are probably plenty of XJ's among you. i'd prefer one closer to stock than to a trail-stomping machine.

I'm sad I sold my 2001 Jeep Cherkoee Sport. I bought it new in 01 and quickly put 10k miles on it. I flipped it for nearly what I bought it for knowing that 01 was the last year of production I felt the price would tumble. It eventually did, but think I sold it to quickly! I love the old look of my Cherokee. I had the Sienna / Red color which would sparkle so pretty when washed and waxed!

How does a 94 Grand Cherokee with 160,000 miles sound?
A buddy of mine is selling his in NY. '01 w/leather. Great condition. Can't remember the mileage or what he wanted though.

thanks for the responses ... i think i'm picking up a 01 gray sport today, but we'll see how the negotiating goes ... i'm in the southeast, so even though i'd love a 94 (no grands), california's a little far. the 94 with the khaki leather trim and woodgrain, with the old style steering wheel is cherokee perfection to me, but i guess there's something to be said for owning the 2001 as well, it being the last year & all.
