: Problem with firefox

Since the last weekend I've been unable to use the forum with Firefox. The only way I can see all the topics is with IE or IETab in Firefox. When I'm with Firefox and I try to see a specific section of the forum (let's say "Jeep Patriot General Discussion"), the header and all the stylesheets loads fine, but it's like if the section was empty. I can't see any thread

So, am I the only one with this problem? Also, I was wondering if the forum's plateform had been updated this weekend, or if it's one of the new firefox updates that I've loaded last week.

Thanks!

I use Firefox and no problem. Since it's a free download, why not uninstall it, and replace it with a fresh copy.

Nevermind, I found it. It's the last version of AdBlock Plus that's freaking out.

Long lives firefox!! :smiley_thumbs_up:

I've been using Firefox a long time, and it works well here, glad you got it figured out.

I do hear that Chrome is edging out Firefox now.

I've tried Chome, and it's really nice. It's way better than IE, but still...Sometimes there's things that I just can't change! I'll stick with the fox for now, since I got it to work again with the forum :D

I'm a fan of the Chrome. Been using it for the past year or so now and it works great for 95% of the websites I visit. For the other 5%, I use firefox or if I have to, IE 8. IE 8 is sooooo slow now though. For something integrated into the OS, it sure takes forever to open up to the first page.

I guess I'll be on IE8 soon for work stuff. I use Firefox for almost everything. Soon we're going to upgrade all the comps to Windows 7, and Office 2010. I'm assuming that will also mean IE8.

That's exactly it. You can whitelist the site and it will work fine.

I wondered what had been going on. Apparently either the new version of ABP has a glitch or some admins have found a way to screw with it, forcing you to allow the ads. Hopefully it's the first and not the second.

Arghhhhhhh!!!

Just disable filter '####adsense_inline' in ad block plus (ABP) only for jeeppatriot.

It seems that someone found a way around to bypass this blocker but even if I disabled this filter, I still don't get annoying ads ;)

Firefox + ABP = best browsing experience ever.

I allowed ABP to say 'okay for jeeppatriot.com' just by clicking on it.
I have javascript disabled, so it does not really matter though..

but it is annoying...

It works fine if you just click on the ABP arrow and select to not block jeeppatriot.
