I have been looking at getting side window deflectors. My Patriot is white so I want dark tinted ones. I contacted a web site dealerfit.com they sell oem stuff. They told me that the factory deflectors are all ones that stick on the outside with 3m tape. I want ones that fit in the window channel. The factory ones look dark enough but do they make them for inside the window channel?

Try weathertech.com I just got an email back from them they only have the light tinted ones and said they may in the future make the dark tinted ones for the Patriot. I'm too impatient to wait.

Have you seen this thread (http://www.jeeppatriot.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3065)? The deflectors look dark in the pictures, but I don't know if you can go by that...

I got these thru a local shop and they are about as dark as you will find. They offer both in channel and over the window mounting.

You can easily do it with this... Niteshades is pretty easy to apply, and you can tint them as dark as you please.

Wow that niteshades stuff is cool. I thought about painting them if they were not dark enough but this stuff would be much better than paint. Thanks for the info.
