Jeep 101 is a grueling, one-of-a-kind test-drive event, hosted by DaimlerChrysler. It's the most challenging off-road course they've ever built.

My wife & I actually had a chance to participate in one some +5 years ago (we still wear the Jeep101 ballcaps). It was a dwcwnt course to test drive all the vehicles that Jeep had on the market at the time. We drove the GC and the wrangler. Really a lot of fun and a great way to get Jeep fever.

I haven't seen nor heard of another returning to the Pacific Northwest since... that's kinda sad. I think this would be a great way to intro the whole new line of Jeeps.

I can't find any more info about the events... anyone have more insight or wet on one, too?

We went to Camp Jeep on the Road (successor to Jeep 101) in 1995 near Grand Rapids, MI. It was a blast. We were really looking forward to them last summer, but Jeep didn't hold them & didn't mention anything about their demise on their website or anywhere else, as far as I know.

I haven't seen anything published for 2007. It's a shame, but, like you, this is a great event. My daughter really got a feeling for Jeep after she test drove a Wrangler, even though she has driven my '98 XJ on occasion.

We still wear our Jeep 101 tee shirts we bought on clearance at the event:-))
