Hey All,

I'm a relatively new Patriot owner (3 weeks even) & absolutely chuffed with the car thus far!

Just wondering exactly how many members based in Perth frequent the forums? Does anyone catch up for some cruise action now & then?

I do not live in Perth but I visited there for about 2 weeks and loved it. I enjoyed the downtown area very much as well as other spots. I enjoyed the pubs and wish we could get Victoria Bitter and Emu Bitter here in the states. We get Tooheys here which I like as well but they can't seem to import the other two. Anyway, I am rambling so... congratulations on your purchase.

Welcome to the forums! I'm a long way from Perth, but would come for a visit in a heartbeat, if I could.

Im from Perth aswell, I roll around in the Black Riot with 22"s and Red Pinstriping, plates [LIEUTNANT].

I think we should see how many Patriot owners we can round up in Perth and have a little coastal cruise on a Sunday for a BBQ or something.

Best way to round some people up would be make up some small flyers, keep them with you and put them in any Patriot windscreen wipers you see.
Ill get onto designing a simple black and white one now :) Keep in touch guys!

Ah well - at least there are another x2 Perth based people! They seem to be pretty few & far between!

big willis - the whip looks sick with the black on black look!

Coastal cruise would be mint. Might take a while to round a few people up though to be able to class it as a cruise! ;)

Look forward to seeing a lil more activity over time though...

Tim.

LOL I saw a photo of your Patriot on a totally unrelated forum!! Someone took a photo of your car at traffic lights from behind and used the number plate as a special edition example.

Hey there fellow patriot owner :)

I'm in Bertram, near the motorplex..

You'll notice my pimp wagon with the big [ASB] sticker on the back window ( Aussie Street Bikes forum ) and I have " 234 " racing stickers on the back 1/4 windows.. ( it's our team number for our racing dinghy.. we do the avon descent )

We should go out for a run some time, arrange all the patriots !! :pepper:

Absolutely no idea anymore, just remember seeing your plate/car in a thread about number plate styles.
May of been a AJOR.... but That's just a guess.

Hey guys, just bought a stock 2007 silver patriot CVT sport with 60k on the clock and in great nick....passed up a black limited with same k's for the same price because it had been in a prang and was a bit iffy but absolutely wrapped in the silver sport.

Looking at lifting it with a crd stu coil kit, trying to find some long travel shocks to suit. Also looking at wheel spacers to fill the guards out. Will look into bigger rubber as soon as 2 inch lift done- it's only for beach work not doing power line track or anything like that. Anyone used theirs on the beach yet ? Watched plenty of YouTube footage but not totally conclusive to how good they go.....looks a million times better than a forester though !

I've watched some videos, and the Patriot looks capable enough on the beach. I'm going to get some traction mats before I give the beach a try.

If you find some longer travel shocks, just be sure they're not more than 2" longer or so. Otherwise you may over extend your CVs or unseat your springs.

Thanks chicaboo - will run it by a local suspension mob to try and source some long travel shocks. Spoke with Stu at Murchison products today who advised his first batch of Monroe shocks has landed - yet to measure them up and see if actually suitable though...waiting to hear from him.

It's 9pm here and only just got home from driving the jeep around all night - just can't stop driving and looking at it !!!!

I asked Stu about shocks not long ago, and he wasn't offering any then. It will be interesting to see what they're like.

He initially recommended looking into ordering KYB 's from the US, as I said he hasn't even unpacked these ones yet so didn't have any info on spec, price etc as yet
