Why aftermarket? The factory ones, 5067531AA, are only like $20 a pop.

Would those mount to a 4x4 sport 07'?

When i installed my hitch,
Willing to donate it to a good cause,

My Valley Class III hitch came with M12 bolts, whereas the Hidden hitch comes with 5/8" bolts. The bolts pressed into the tow hooks are M12 with an M10 thread.

Get some M12 bolts instead of the 5/8", and you can press out the old bolts with a vice and put the M12's in without drilling out the hooks. Just use a couple short 4X4's to support the hook in the vice.

The Class III is for 3500 lbs, whereas the Pat is rated for only 2000 lbs, so the reduction is bolt size won't be an issue, unless you exceed the 2000 lbs.

Or you can give away your hook, that you paid extra for on your FDII.

I was just quoted $160 each for these tow hooks !! Where are you getting the "$20 a pop" from? If you are right I am going back to my dealer.

I would not mind adding a hook on each end. I know that there is not a lot to hook to on a stock Patriot.

I think item #2 is referring to something else. I was quoted $160 each directly from the dealer if anyone has confirmation of the list price let me know.

Homac is this including installation? Tow hooks are no where near $160 each.

If you check out the list above the price you see the 'tow hooks' are highlighted in red, this means that the product you are viewing is that product. Tow hooks from MPA are 14.14 a pop..... I would not go to that dealership if I were you they are just f'n you dry...If they are quoting a tow hook at that much

Maybe the didn't read it correctly and they are actually $16

Edit: looks like they are now $13 each...

this works well to retain the rear tow hook with a hitch.

The part quoted in red is not the tow hooks like on the FDII. Try #21 and you'll see the correct part $140 Ea. The hook that is highlited is one of those that thread into a spot usally located on the bumper/frame area and is usally covered with a cap or plug the same color of the vehicle. Good for getting out of a snow bound road but not for off road use.
