Aaron, here.

2007 Patriot Limited 4x4 - non-trailrated
Beige
Sirius
Speaker Upgrade
Mopar Direct Ipod connection.

Love it except for the rattling dash - Waverly knows what needs to be fixed, just have to get it in to have the work done.

Hi Chris and Aaron:

I'm Geoff. I just bought mine yesterday. Though I haven't had much of a chance yet to drive it, it seems to be handling the exceptionally cold weather we are having right now. Other than the tire pressure monitor is constantly flashing. But I guess that is to be expected in the -30 and worse weather we are having.

Geoff:

In the cold weather, try inflating your tires to about 34 pounds (about 235 kps). That will turn off the warning, and won't result in dangerously high pressure when the temperature goes back up. Of course, you should be sure to check it again in spring, and if necessary, deflate a bit. Keeping the pressure up will also help with gas mileage.

Um, what neilcrichton said. :)

Thanks guys. I'll give it a shot. Hopefully that will improve mileage somewhat as well.. It isn't looking too good right now. But it only has 200km on it and I understand that it should improve over time.

Mine has been fine once it warmed up above -15 or so. Not to mention the fuel economy has finally started improving now with the warmer weather and a few extra clicks on my odometer. I'm getting around 14L/100km versus the 16.5L/100 a month ago :-)

Are you from Winnipeg? What are you driving? I see a few Pats on my commute to work every day.

In winnipeg and looking to pick up a patriot soon probably. Just have to sell or trade in the xj. How are the pats on the rough winnipeg roads? To bad I dumped over 3000 in suspension lift and tires , could really use that now. Have not seen many around here. I assume no issues with the extra cold weather this winter?

Hello:

I only got mine in February so I can't speak from a lot of experience. But mine handled our lengthy cold snap last month quite well. No problems starting. One day I had frost on the inside of the back window, which may indicate a poor seal somewhere, but it only happened once so I suspect I just didn't shut the door properly or something.

The snow is really melting fast on my street and the water is beginning to pool at the end of the street. If it keeps up, I might be happy the FD-II can ford 19 inches of water :)
