What???

If it is 'exactly' the same Patriot, or a factory order you received the MSRP for ($16995) you could contact Consumer and Corporate Affairs as they could be charged.

As others have mentioned the $16995 does not include GST ($1200 aprox.) or the frieght/destination charge ($1200).

Also be sure to consider the ecoRebate you get back from the Canadian Government. ($1000)

The price is before adding any sort of taxes be it federal or provincial:

Jeep Patriot 08 FWD

Basic Vehicle (MSRP) 18630.00

25E Customer Preferred Package 2260.00

2.4L 4 CYL

5 SPD MANUAL

YES ESSENTIALS 280.00

TIRE AND WHEEL GROUP 600.00

TOTAL BASIC VEHICLE and optional extras price21770.00

TOTAL SALE PRICE 21959.00

So, this is the price before taxes. It climbs to 27 with freight, taxes and protections...

Edit:

I wonder what were your MSRP estimates for your Sport's in Southern Ontario? Were they the same as advertised or close to the advertised price? Or were they a cosmic amount as the one i posted??

Yeah i will contact Consumer and Corporate Affairs as soon as possible and good thing the Pat has still not been paid for. Nothing better than a good stealership around the corner...First car will be a great experience they said...yeah and don't let the door hit you on the way out...
