In Canada at least there is no Stone White pen. I have the white Mopar pen because of stone chips as well. In the grand scheme of things, it is really adequate. The touched-up area with the pen is soon overshadowed by the rest of the Stone White paint. When you stand back, it is very difficult to discern the different shade of white - honest. The pen is much thinner than the painted surface by the way.

I have no regrets with the white Mopar pen. Got it at my local dealer.

On my old Studebaker, I got very disappointing results with a pen. The tip was too big to get into tiny chips, and like Quasi said, the paint is thin. Got better results spraying a little puddle of matching Duplicolor onto a piece of cardboard, then carefully applying it with a Q-Tip.

There's a paint supplier I dealt with, and I'm sure there are others like them in most cities, where you take a sample of your car's paint (I removed my gas cap cover). They measure the colour with a colour densitometer, mix a perfect match and put it in a spray can. I've used them several times, and the colours have always been right on, even if they're sun-faded.

Hey Quasi, I got mine @ Canadian Tire...Mine's silver but the listing indicated the Patriot. Did you try Canadian Tire?.They haven quite a selection. I think it was about 10 bucks..how much was it at the dealer?
I haven't got a chip yet...well lets rephrase that....I haven't found a chip yet.

Your dealer should be able to get you a vial of factory touch up paint for under 20 bucks. just ask them.

I purchased the Vial/Pen in Stone White at my dealer located north of Toronto a couple of days ago. MOPAR #04864104AB

They are definitely available.

Dealer (try the Dodge/Chrysler dealer rather than the Jeep dealer), or Autozone. The one by me definitely stocked all 2007 Jeep colors.

What is the difference between "Stone White" and "White" ?

I used to have a "Lapis" Blue Neon and now have a "Jeep" Green Patriot.

When I registered my Jeep I asked them to put "Jeep Green" down as the color and the lady just laughed at me. "Green is green buddy......" is all she said.

Maybe you should have asked her if she could explain the difference between a lady and a "Lady"....:D

'Stone White' is an off-white that's VERY slightly creamier... almost like an egg shell colour. (That's probably not the best description lol) In any case, it is NOT a pure or brilliant white. Unfortunately, it's hard to really see it unless you see the car in person. It does look really nice though, it's the colour I own :)

I just verified that Stone White is available in an aerosol formula. The Mopar part number is 04864105, and can be ordered from your dealer.

The Mopar Paint Pens and Sprays are sold through Jeep/Chrysler Dealers Mopar parts counters. Most colors that are available in pens are also in sprays. I have a list if anyone is looking for part numbers, or your dealer should have the numbers as well.
