Has anyone out there used the MOPAR performance air filter (part no. MP5153573)? Does it do the same job as the K&N filter? I was going to order one using my $50.00 MOPAR coupon but was told by the Chrysler service dept. that it could void my warranty (performance part?) I'm thinking I will order it anyway and keep the stock one to exchange if necessary. Any thoughts on this?

just see what the parts person says, usually what every they sell it wont void a warrenty

I highly doubt an original MOPAR air filter would void a warranty. Plus you would always throw the stock one back on before you take it an for any work ;)
