Any patriots crusin' the east coast, from Ormond beach to Edgewater?

I've got an 07 FDII and I'm in Ormond. See ya around town! I'm also an ERAU alumni.

I'm right on the beach in New Smyrna. Got my '08 limited 4x4 trail rated, back in Michigan where I spend the summers. Got to do a little fire trail running around Grayling before I left for Florida for the winter. So far, my fun rides down here have been around the Lake Ashby area. There's a couple of good dirt/sand roads over there I like to run but no hills like I'm used to in northern Michigan.

Just got my new '07 Patriot 4x4 Trail Rated last week and I love it. I've never driven a 4x4, but I've quickly gained a huge appreciation for it - it's been 0-10 deg. F for several days here in Michigan - with the snow & ice covered roads, it makes a big difference having the Jeep. Do you know of any good beginner off-road trails near Grand Rapids?

Next time I visit Daytona Beach, I'll be sure to go 'play' in the sand - Lake Ashby, also sounds interesting - what kind of terrain do you find there?

Want a job? These helicopter mechanics cant figure out our King Air autpilot and Northstar M3 GPS which is prolly oldder than me. (so old they are officially stopping the issue of IFR updates for it...)
