Brand new to the boards here and checking in. I have ordered the 4X4 sport in black with the E package. If all goes well I will have my vehicle in about 6-8 weeks. Has anyone else received their patriot yet???

Wow! I didn't know they were taking orders for Patriots yet!

What dealership did you order from? Few, if any of us, have seen the vehicle in person.

It seems to be really hit or miss when it comes to talking with dealerships. Here in the DFW metroplex I called several jeep dealers to see when the Patriots would be available to order / view. Every single salesman I talked to didn't even know what a Patriot is (Real award winning employees!) One guy even said ..." Patriot? Who builds that?..." Umm I called you to ask specifically about it!

There was one dealership that once I got past the initial dim wit and talked to the sales manager he said they had been taking orders for a while and that there was already a wait of 10 people. Not a single other dealership even knew about the patriot and were not even close to starting a waiting list. I can't speak for the other areas of the country, but I hope other people have had better luck. Being a brand new vehicle that no one of the general public has seen yet I would be very weary of flopping down a deposit for something sight unseen. I am most defiantly interested on getting my hands on one ASAP, but I've got to see one inside and out (and drive it too) before I'll fork over my money.

I live in Auburn Hills, Michigan so Chrysler HQ is right in my backyard so I have seen almost all the new cars that they are coming out with right now. I have seen all the new patriots as well as a few diesel versions. I haven't driven the patriot myself but I have driven the caliber as well as the compass.

As far as where I ordered the Patriot, it is a fast feedback vehicle. which means that dealer ordered vehicles won't start being produced just yet but very soon.
