Ok,,it happened, I had the back seats folded forward. Well I was helping someone move a big Boxing Day parcel being ever so careful not to leave a mark anywhere on the interior.
Everything went great, until the guy hit the off-white ceiling with the rubber tire from the 2-wheel dolley.
HORROR OF HORRORS!!- There's a black scuff mark on the ceiling. Its not too bad but it needs to be cleaned off.
Can anybody suggest something I can spray on it, in order to clean it off? I was thinking something like windex and paper towel but dont want to leave a blue residue up there.
Any suggestion would be helpful.
Here i am worrying about this, meanwhile he have got ourselves numerious owners with water pissing inthrough the ceilings.
Thanks

Try a damp cloth first, then general purpose cleaner. If that doesn't work, use brake cleaner..

The dealer told me to use any upholstery cleaner product such as Spotshot. They used a Mopar cleaning product on my headliner but the service adviser said there are other similar products that are cheaper. I could smell it in the car and it smelled identical to Spotshot.

You have a couple options:
You could go to an auto detailer as they specialize in this sort of thing, however they would charge you $$
Most of them use a damp cloth for minor stains, upholstery cleaner for stubborn stains and lastly a dry cleaning pad as a last resort.
Do not soak the headliner or make it too wet, as that too can stain, be gentle.
Hope this helps....

Scary stuff.
If it was mine, I would squirt with cleaning solution of choice.
Or dip rag into a can that had the cleaning solution in it, try to soak the mark as much as possible but not any extra, then use a shop vac or car wash vac(most powerful you can find) and apply it directly to the stain and hope to pull it out. Don't rub the vacuum.
I would be scared to death I would just smear it around if I tried to rub it with anything.
Maybe it's not that bad tho.
I have used the Mopar Total care on the headliner. Worked great to get out finger smudges.

KFC, have you attempted the cleanup yet? Perhaps it has just been too darn cold to attempt anything yet.

Quasi....
I took one of those 'tide to go' stain pens, and rubbed her clean.
Worked like a dream..ever seen those before?

Excellent news, KFC. yes, my wife keeps one of those Tide pens in her purse. Good to know. I am happy it all worked itself out for you.
