Has anybody replaced their stock batteries for Optima or other batteries? I am thinking of the Optima brand and in specific the yellow top. Does anyone have any suggestions? In my wifes car, an Impala 04, I installed a Optima red top two years ago, and granted in live in hot weather, but during the cold it is very reliable. It gives me 1000 cold crank amps. I figure on going with a deep cycle battery like the Optima Yellow Top because sooner or later I know there will be add on accesories to my pat like Hella lights and a winch, so better be prepared.
