Anybody know if there are any manufacturers selling projector headlights. I wouldn't mind running a nice HID kit.

I don't see why you need em, these lights are pretty good alone; but no, I don't think there are any out yet.

A projector light is not necessarily an HID. An HID is a system that has an actual arc (spark) that jumps across a gap between two electrodes. A regular bulb has a filament that is heated by passing a current through it until it glows. A good HID can put out more light at less current than a bulb.

No, but thanks. I'm actually looking for a headlight housing designed for the patriot. One that can contain the light beam from the HID properly, so I won't be blinding everyone one the road.

sorry man, they're too new; plus i think projectors would look funny in the round headlights of the patriot anyways. Like eyeballs.

You wont find a projector kit for the Patriot yet however I sugest that you check out hidplanet.com

agreed that the wrong projector will make a jeep look bug eyed however the best way to control hids is with a projector.

I am in the middle of a fog light retro using bosh mini projectors.

Cool those look like the replicators from Stargate.

These may be a good idea, however use caution when changing/aiming headlights.

I see far too many lately that burn my eyes out coming the opposite direction.

Usually that's just what projector headlights do LOL...they're awesome though. I have to admit they would look funny on a Patriot - I think I will just stick to the 10000k/12000k xenon upgrade :) ...oh, the fog lights as well!
