Wondering how many future Patriot owners are going to buy their Patriot with the Off road group option....

Also curious as to...what vehicle, if any, are you trading in or selling when you buy your Patriot?

I INTEND TO GET THE OFF ROAD PACKAGE.ITS GOING TO REPLACE MY WIFES 2001 MAZDA TRIBUTE.NOT SURE YET WHAT WE ARE GOING TO DO WITH THE MAZDA,BUT ITS NOT A TRADE IN.EITHER I WILL DRIVE IT REPLACING MY NISSAN OR GIVE IT TO MY DAUGHTER

Without a doubt, if the FDII package lives up to its stated abilities, that's what we will buy... otherwise we will get some other 4x4 compact that seats 5.

I am going to trade in my daily driver, a Scion xB. no it's not a wheeler. it's my daily driver.

When I get one, it will be the offroad version with Trail Rated badge attatched.

I want the off road version.

Trading in a Ford Escort 4dr. which has been a good car for what it is. A cheap way to get around. But with my BIG DOG and Baby on the way I want something that we can all comfortably travel in. Off Road really is for some of the crappy back roads and weather we have. Some of the Pot holes my escort have fallen into are unreal. Couple of Camp Roads we go up are in sorry sorry shape as well. We also have some steep climbs to get to one camp in particular and I hope the low range cvt works well. (even if it is only a software created low range)

Off-road option (FDII/CVT2L) for me. Mainly out of principle. The extra inch ground clearance is a plus. And I really like the 19:1 crawl. I can live without the trail-rated badge. In fact I plan to take it off before I leave the dealership. :D

I'd remove the dealership name tage before I'd remove the TR badge! . . . or ask them how much they will PAY you for advertising their dealership for the next 5 years.

I will be selling or trading in a 94 XJ...as for the off road package, the one inch lift and the fog lights are nice...i dont need the 19:1 low...is that all the FDII is?
