Big fan of the new Daimler-Chrysler vehicles. Caliber/Compass/Patriot. First Car was a Chrysler and I switched to Ford - yeah what was i thinkin - but the Neon just wasn;t my kinda ride.

Anyways - lookin to get a Patriot FDII. Hopefully they make enuff to get one by summer up here in Canada.

Love the styling. Need more power (at least 275 hp, and torque 300 lbs. ft.). Better quality interior if anything like the plasticky compass.

The XJ doesn't have that kind of power and you want the Patriot? As someone else stated, the Patriot isn't built for speed. You want those numbers, there are numerous other vehicles for sale. Try the SRT JGC; you'll get your thrills with that ride--at the appropriate sticker price.

No, the Neon wasn't the greatest car, BUT it sure was economical. Close to 40 MPG, and it gave us 230,000 miles--even with the notorious leaking head gasket!

XJ = 236,000 miles and still counting.

If I could get 1/2 that with a Patriot, I would be happy.

293,000 miles on my XJ when I sent it to the junk yard. Still ran but repairs were getting too expensive. :(
