I was just wondering wether there were any other Dutchies on this forum. I picked my patriot up in October and I love it! :Racing:

So far I have only seen one other patriot in the Netherlands, so I still feel kinda unique.

Great! This weekend I'm going to Switzerland, I can't wait to try it out in the mountains and the snow. It's nice to drive around in Holland, but it is still a 4x4! I've got wintertires and chains, so I'm all set to go

I really enjoyed touring through Holland when I was there. The roads are great and very tourist friendly. Unfortunately I cannot speak Dutch, however everyone I ran into spoke English and super friendly.

Slightly off-topic, however I really encourage anyone interested to plan a trip.

Hoi Steph,

I have been driving around since mid October and have yet to see another one in real life. Lots of Compasses, but no Patriots! Mine is a Black Limited with sunroof and navigation. Amsterdam and area is where most of my driving is being done. Austria in March... Do you still need snowchains when you drive 4x4?

groetjes!

Hoi Dutch78,

Maybe it was your Patriot I saw, as it was a black one and it was in Amsterdam. I live in Amsterdam too, so that is also where I do most of my driving. Maybe I'll spot you again sometime! About the snowchains: you probably won't really need them, but on certain mountain roads it can be compulsory to use them in Switzerland an Austria.
Groetjes terug!
