Will any scan tool work on the Patriot? Can I do any editing of the computer program and/or lookup tables?

How many computers does the Patriot have?

My Chevy has one Powertrain Control Module which controls the engine and transmission, but I understand that more recent cars frequently use separate computers for the engine and tranny. I am sure there is also one or more computers for antiskid brakes and maybe a separate one for traction control and stability control.

I have PC software that allows me to download the PCM program and lookup tables, edit them, and upload them back to the PCM. Is there any such capability for the Patriot?
