hello, i was wondering if you could create a forum section pertaining to prices paid, dealer experiences, or something just for how the dealer service went type forum area..... im in the process of negotiating with dealers now and if i may, its been an awful experience , but i really dont want to vent in the general discussions thread.. i know this is common with cars dealers but still ... my last two times i bought cars were not this bad. anywho.......just a thought and a suggestion if a may. thanks alot and hopefully to be part of the "i finally got a jeep patriot today" nation someday.....

I don't see a problem if this was in General Discussion. (but I'm not the Mod, so take that with a grain of salt..)
Many people will understand your plight there, imhere. Some would rather have a root canal than buy a car. Are there other dealers in your proximity that you can go to? If not, I can't imagine it would hurt to ask to talk to the General Manager of the dealership and explain how you feel. (even if the next nearest dealer is a ways away, I would let them know you might have to travel to get the deal you really feel you want)
It's sad that car sales are even set up the way they are with the dealers having all the trump cards. Do your best to go online and get prices as a starting point and start from there.
Good luck and we hope to see you in our "nation of Jeepers" soon!
