have spilled soda that beaded and cleaned up easlily on the inner panel,
but also have 3 stains smaller than dime sized marks, on the drivers seat that i cant get out,
dont know what caused the stain, possibly coffee on my lap,
looks more like dirt of some sort than a liquid stain

I spilled coffee all over my seat and it basically beaded right off. I expect they have some kind of durable water repellency (DWR) much like the kind that's found on Goretex jackets.

I havent had any problems with mine yet. One of the reasons I got the sport vs the limited was that I liked the Yes fabric

Same here EJ... The Yes interior, in a Roundabout way, is a "No maintenance" option for the interior...

I've been lucky and haven't spilled anything (yet) but I sure like the fact that it won't absorb stink, especially after I crawl in to drive home after a sweaty mountain bike ride. ;)

Funny...my wife says the same thing but for some reason, her reasoning had nothing to do with bike rides..:icon_rolleyes:

I didn't like where the conversation was heading so I changed the subject on her..

The morning after I picked up my Patriot I was driving to work with a pot of chili in the back when some kids pulled out in front of me... I slammed on the brakes and the chili slid...and dumped.
I used dry towels and a little water to clean it up and you wouldn't know anything happened.
So in my opinion YES is a big hell YES when it comes to working!

i surf a lot.. sometimes while surfing me and my buddies decides to surf a different spot 15 minutes away... so we just jump inside the pat with our wet wetsuits on... with my old car, it will stink like hell after a day or two.. with the yes seats, smells like brand spank'n new. :D

Folks,

I gave the Yes fabric a very good test this morning. As I do every morning, I placed my bag that I carry several essentials for work on the floor behind the driver's seat. Today I also had an extra thermos of coffee so I sat my mug of coffee (I drink on the way to work) on the arm rest. The mug fits perfectly into the cup holders in the center console, but since it was out of sight as I got settled in the driver's seat, I had forgotten all about the mug. First stop sign I stopped at, the mug wound up in the passenger seat, leaking hot coffee through the top lid all over the seat!

Soaked it all up with a terry cloth towel that I had handy. Still saw a trace of coffee stain when I got to work but when I left to go home this evening, no trace at all! The Yes Essential fabric is so cool! :pepper:

You know what cleans up better than stain-resistant fabric? Vinyl. I've spilled all sorts of **** on it, not to mention having a wet dog riding around in the car every day, and it's come through admirably.

The Yes fabric looked nice, but the vinyl is actually quite tolerable aesthetically and there aren't any questions about long-term durability. That and the Patriot I wanted happened to have the vinyl interior :).
