I just wheeled with some guys who were wheeling their JKs only after owning it for two weeks. So that made me curious as to how many people on this forum were actually planning on wheeling their Patriot shortly after buying it?

BTW when I mean wheeling I'm not talking dirt roads -- i'm talking about trails cut through woods, dirt hill climbs, rocks, mud, etc.

My Patriot would be more of a DD. The capability of a Jeep, the name recognition, but with some economy. I would use my TJ for serious offroading. But, I just like to have the capability if I need it.

I would. Most my friends own ranches we visit fairly often so I need something that can handle the off road trails when I am there but dosnt cost me an arm and a leg driving the 300 or more miles to get to them.

While I plan to use my TJ for the really fun stuff, I would wheel my Patriot. Bunny trails at first. More advanced stuff after I put front and rear Jeeperman bumpers on my rig.:D
