I'm having a cellphone car kit installed in my newly delivered Patriot Limited CRD.
According to the audio manual, the factory-fit radio needs a code if the battery is disconnected from the set.
Checked with all the delivery documentation and there's no code noted - my wife's Commander had it stuck right over the SAT unit just where the docs said it would be.
I phoned the dealer and they claim that the RAQ has the code burned into the unit and I won't need to enter the code at all.
Naturally, I don't want to be without the radio / CD for any time at all (yes - driving the Pat is fun but it's even more fun with a good soundtrack)
Anyone know which is correct? Am I going to have to get a code from somewhere???
Thanks for your time!
