: coin holder
drlnfil 11-25-2007, 09:38 AM Has anyone found a decent spot to put coins? In my old corolla (RIP) there were 2 spots and lots of storage. Still getting used to less storage spots (that are closed off) and would like the change to rattle less.need the change for a double-double!
Dmentd_Dan 11-25-2007, 11:13 AM If you have the "smokers group" you could use the ash tray that fits in the cup holder.
demolaysgirl 11-25-2007, 11:20 AM I keep mine in the small opening behind the cup holders.
MEGULA 11-25-2007, 12:00 PM I keep mine in a Crown Royal bag. :p
I found a coin holder that fits inside a cup holder at AutoZone. I put it into the second cup holder (closest to the armrest).
Simon 11-25-2007, 07:47 PM I use the drivers door, where you put your hand to close it.
Tiburon 11-25-2007, 08:27 PM All these little cubby holes and not a one big enough to put anything in. I think the first little square one in front of the cup holders is where my change has been ending up. I drop my cell phone in there also. The arm rest box is full with 3 or 4 cd's and chargers for the phone and GPS. It is not big enough for anything else.
viprjrgirl 11-25-2007, 10:52 PM I keep change in a change purse, that I keep in my purse, its very heavy, I could knock someone out with it.
In my pat, the change ends up on the floor some how
Robot_Boy 11-26-2007, 12:23 AM need the change for a double-double!
First clue you're Canadian...

I laugh when I read that... though for those Tim's addicts here in Michigan, the Canadian giveaway was if he wanted an XL... that's just a large here, though the lid still says XL.
And... it takes a lot of change here since we don't have toonies...
thetootall 12-02-2007, 04:59 PM Does anyone but me use the 4x4 switch to keep their change?
It's perfect, and has thus far been able to hold at least $3 in change ;)

or what about in the crevace under the arm wrest?

demolaysgirl 12-02-2007, 05:31 PM I use the spot directly under the arm rest. Holds quite a bit of change.
I use the spot under the 4x4 switch to hold my car wash tokens. I buy a few at a time.
Akula 12-03-2007, 12:30 PM I keep it in a little zippered pouch that I either shove in the UAS (Under Armrest Spot) or the rearward cupholder (depends on where it gets tossed in the drivethru.
I do kinda miss the little spot for that in my old Accord, but oh well. I'll get over it.

we will probably end up putting ours there, especially since we dont' have 4x4

i used to keep it in the cup-holder of my old neon, simply because there was too little space to actually hold anything larger than a medium drink in it. lol (even without the ash-tray; although, thats where i put it in my old old neon..lol)
BNoble 12-06-2007, 11:25 PM No tolls, so change not needed. Tolls require bills now. I give change to kids. Kids pocket the coins. Wife collects coins from washing machine. She puts the coins in the Disney jar (vacation fund).
Bozzy 12-07-2007, 10:44 AM Driver's door handle
ejkelvin 12-07-2007, 12:05 PM I keep mine in an altoids mint tin that i throw in the armrest console
frdrk 12-07-2007, 01:19 PM Ashtray is my choice. Easy to access those little coin buggers, and you can pick up the whole ashtray out of the cupholder an easily pick out the coins. Aslo, I´ve placed the ashtray in the rear-seat cupholder, so that I can use both front cupholders.
crispy17 12-07-2007, 01:30 PM I threw my change in a paper coffee cup in one of the cupholders. Easy to take out, move to rear if need be, and it didn't cost me anything.
luffing 12-07-2007, 02:16 PM I keep mine in a spot right underneath the driver's seat...
sarao 12-07-2007, 05:04 PM Has anyone found a decent spot to put coins? In my old corolla (RIP) there were 2 spots and lots of storage. Still getting used to less storage spots (that are closed off) and would like the change to rattle less.need the change for a double-double!
On a Tim Horton's cup at the back seat cup holder!
RiotRabbit 03-25-2008, 04:25 PM I bought a small coin sorter at Murray's auto that fits in the little rectangular slot behind the cupholders.
Bozzy 03-25-2008, 07:08 PM ok where's Murray's
jsster 03-25-2008, 07:09 PM I just use the little squares near the cup holders! They are deep enough so the change won't go flying when you are turning sharp.
