Will you go stock, lifted, or lowered?

I have seen a lot of the other Jeeps running around stock, some with a variety of lifts and even a handful of them lowered with neon lights!

If you don't want to go out of the box down the road, how much will you lift/lower it?

I am seriously looking into a 2"-3" lift. I am not going to take it out for some serious, hardcore trail rides where you're guaranteed to dent/scratch/break something.. I will however take it down trails rated as more difficult (3-4 on a 1-5 scale). A 2"-3" lift should really maximize the abilities IMHO.

I'm going to wait to see how much taller the FDII is over FDI. The problem is the 4 wheel independent suspension. 2"-2.5" lift is probably going to be the max lift without becoming cost prohibitive.

Lowering a Jeep is a cardnial sin where I come from.

To each his/her own.

Since I plan on getting a 5 spd I will not be able to get the Freedom II.

However I will just have to put some meaty tires and leave it where it is.

Actually like to see one lowered, as the Jeep SRT8, with the same 20 inch rims and such. Now I know that 4x4's might not be nice like that, but you have to admit on the SRT8 JGC it looks nice.

I'd just like to see a Patriot done in the same manner.

I'm lifting mine probably about 2 inches (although the b/f only wants me to put a 1 inch budget boost on but I think thats because he doesn't want my jeep to be bigger than his :D) the second the Pat is done being made and I get the money and/or figure out how. I'm sorry but it just looks silly riding so low!

I'd like to lift mine 2" and put on some 18" wheels with beefy tires.
