Anyone know if there are any speakers in the cargo area for a Patriot with the standard sound package? I don't have the flip down subwoofers, but I'm wondering if there are any smaller speakers in the back cargo area.
Moving a couple televisions and monitors and would hate to find out about the magnets after the fact.
Thanks!

No, the standard audio package is just 4 speakers, one in each passenger door.
I don't think the magnets in stock speakers would be powerful enough to mess with TVs and monitors anyway, at least unless you were TRYING to do it. CRTs of a size to be useful would necessarily have to sit far enough away to avoid damage anyhow.
Move away, and lift with the legs, not the back. Some of those things can be HEAVY.

That's what I figured, but you never know, they might have added a tweeter or two to the back section. I did screw up one monitor with my old Frontier, had the monitor seat belted in the back seat. There was the rainbow discoloration in the bottom right corner of the monitor for a long time before it went away.
Can't buy these Trinitrons anymore, hate to screw it up. TV, not so much...don't watch TV all that much anyway. South Park and SciFi channel mostly.

CRT TVs have a degaussing coil that wraps around the CRT. In the event you do get too close to some magnets, the coil will, over time, correct the situation. The coil only works for a few seconds at startup -- you'd get the rainbow effect (the magnetic field of the degaussing coil) if it stayed on too long. If the rainbow does not go away, you will need to borrow a handheld degaussing coil.
