Everything in my car detailing past screamed, "No" but I bought this stuff from a guy this morning at my local gas station. They were doing a promotion, while I was pumping gas, he sprayed some on my dirty ass'riot and rubbed it clean.

I was sold, then bought the jumbo waterless auto detail kit, yes the kid got a live one, as between sips of coffee, I took the bait, hook line and sinker.

Tried it out by doing the whole thing, and I have to say, using a spray can, then wiping clean a car after 3 weeks of rain filled muddy days, is pretty damn good.

It took me around 45mins, to wipe clean and wax the 'riot, I'll have to get the name of this stuff, but it's a keeper.:D

Hard to believe that without at least hosing off the heavy dirt/salt/mud/sand/etc that you didn't scratch the paint by wiping.

I bought some stuff off the TV shopping channel " Showroom Shine" waterless valeting wash. I was sceptical --but it worked great with no sctatching ( & I have black).I'm am running out of the stuff & need to order some more. However I do also use normal wash /wax shampoo when I'm feeling energetic.

I used the Kozak cloth for years on my Cadillac. If the car is well waxed and there isn't too much puddle splatter, it works great. It will not remove water spots very well. Back in my time using it, it was only the cloth, no sprays or fluids. Oddly enough, even if it picked up an awful lot of dirt, it never seemed to scratch the car.

I've used it on and off for years. You want to make sure that you buy the ones with Carnuba wax in them. Firstly it smells great and secondly it brings up the shine of the paintwork.

The trick is to leave it long enough but not too long so that it lifts the dirt. Then you do need to use quite a few decent microfiber cloths. If you don't then you do run the risk of scratching the paintwork with the dirty cloths.

The only hard part of washing for me is the washing and wiping, with two bad shoulders, arthritis, etc. So not sure that would be better. Just when it's cold, hard to wash with water. I've washed mine many times when it froze before I could get it dry.

I couldn't believe it as well, though no road salt, just dirty as all heck like I said with the 3-4 weeks of rain, I hadn't been able to find time between rain storms to wash.

What I really couldn't get over was just how clean my stock wheels got by simply spraying this stuff on, waiting a few mins, then wiping it off, as I haven't cleaned these wheels in 2-3 months prior to the coming of the rains.

I'll still use water from time to time, but what I really liked was that I just did it in a remote parking lot out in the middle of nowhere, so I could easily do this at work on sundays:smiley_thumbs_up:

Sure, it's really going to get the dirt off better than a hose with water and carwash soap, yea right

Are these products eco friendly? Just thought they might contain some harmful chemicals. I also support waterless car wash (http://www.detailxperts.net/automobile_detailing). I go to this shop in Detroit that uses steam cleaning method instead.

I'm not a big fan of waterless car wash. I wash my car not just to clean the surface but also to remove the dirt and grime underneath.

I'll just stick to parking the Jeep on the lawn and washing it with hose. 1 my car gets clean, 2 my lawn gets wattered. 3 I enjoy washing my car, and 4 the patriot is so small I'm done in 15 minutes.
