This one was my fault.
I was unhitching a trailer and the trailer tongue moved forward and nicked my rear bumper fascia in three spots....digging in and discoloring it. How do I make the best of this? Is there a paint stick pen that will work on Plastic? Or am I looking at tasteful bumper sticker (do those exist?)
For the future, I'm buying a guard that bolts to the ball and will prevent this type of thing from happening again.

LOL, amateur I've bent the license plate on the truck in half a few times doing the same thing, you'd think I'd learn.

You should be able to get a touch up pen and cover it up.

Tasteful bumper sticker? Sure...stick a Save Our State or Minuteman Sticker on the back. Goes perfectly with the PATRIOT emblazoned on the back.

What color is the jeep, and what color is the discoloration? It may sound odd, but sharpies work... they may wash off after a little, but sharpies are very inexpensive.

It's Jeep Green and the marks are white.

I think I'm gonna go the touch-up paint stick route and use a bumper sticker as a last resort.

I have used the paint stick in the past and they do a good job on scratches, but if the are deep they will still be noticeable. If you have the patience to work on it, you could probably fill the scratched and sand them down. Then use touchup paint, but it would take a few steps and some time.

Some tips here

These guys sell all kinds of fillers and paints also. They have specific stuff for plastic filling.

I was thinking of how to protect mine when I go to hook up the boat.
Best think I could think of was to weld a protection plate to the reciever, so the hitch will hit it instead of the bumber.

They make those already. I have seen somewhere...
Here is one I found
1129
I have seen them with a bigger "V" shape though...
