Just in case you guys have missed the news flashes....Hummer will be revealing the H4 ("direct competitor to Jeep Wrangler") in January at the Detriot Auto Show.

This vehicle is being considered because they feel the H2 is too big for the trail environment...(or was in any environment?), and the H3 has drawn a lot of attention. The H4 will be built on a 4 wheel drive platform (as yet unnamed) and one source said it will have a 5.3 liter V8 engine........somehow, I think that is ridiculous.

Eventhough I'm a die hard Jeeper, I'll be interested to see what the H4 will look like and how it will perform. "Direct competitor to Jeep Wrangler" I'll believe it when I see it. But competition is a good thing.

If Hummers keep getting smaller I can't wait to see the H7 tricycle w/ 5.3L V8. :p
