...1997 model Ford F150 XLT reg cab with a 4.6 V8 costs in the States brand new (like in 1997, that is...:))?

I´m just curious cause I used to own a truck like that, imported from the States, and I´m curious to see how much taxes it got when sold here in 2005.

Oh gosh, I never paid attention to prices then of course I was only 19 driving a 1984 VW Rabbitt. I know about how much a 2004 Ford F350 Turbo, crew cab (6 pack as the loggers call them) diesel cost. I'm going to guess around $13,000 to $15,000 depending on options. All I could find is what suggested resale is. I added $10,000 to what they said and figure that might be about what they sold for.

After some quick calculations, I now know that I in 2005 paid double the price for it imported to our country (29100 USD!), then it was sold for new in the States. :doh: :D
...just gotta love our tax and import system! :notworthy::o

It's amazing how crazy those taxes are.
