Hi folks. Just joined the group this weekend. I've never owned a Jeep before, but am considering a Patriot. Right now we are a Subie family, with an '03 Forester (wife) and '05 Legacy GT wagon (me.) I'm looking to sell my GT and replace with something a little more SUVish. Was figuring on another Forester, but saw the Patriot and I really like what I've seen so far. Can't wait to check it out in person in the coming months. Thanks.

The Patriot would definately be a good Forester/Legacy replacement. Especially if you need a little more space. My Mother-in-law has a Forester. Great car, lots fun to drive. Subaru has set the AWD standard pretty high so it will be interesting to see if Jeep can meet or even exceed the AWD standard. Again welcome and hope you enjoy the wait.
