Can anyone tell me if the EVIC will display radio station and track info if you install an after market head unit installed.(with appropriate connections) ??

im still waitng for info from chrysler australia in regards to the rds issue, hopefully i will get some data info etc aswell...btw i got mine thru albion chrysler, i would suggest you talk with gerry there, he did an outrageous deal for me, wink

I would like an answer to this too. Or even, if it doesn't show up, than what does?

Or even, what setup will give you full EVIC, UConnect and stearing wheel controls with aftermarket head unit?

mine doesnt display any of the radio info. it still displays everything else.

It seems like Uconnect will not work with an aftermarket head unit unless you have the dealer installed UConnect. As far as steering wheel controls, they will work as long as you purchase the can bus adapter for your new headunit. For the EVIC display I think you lose all radio info, but all other features work.

I can't see how it would display any of that. How would it know what to display? I don't know of any info output on any head unit that would work with that.
