i need some help...i painted the first rim with the duplicolor flat black and it turned out alright but there are some spots with bubbles. i was wondering if anybody knew how to fix this? lastly, could these bubbles arise from not sanding the wheel well enough? thanks.

Could be a bunch of things. Not sanded well enough, Grease (not clean), dirt, etc...Did you use a primer as well?
Hopefully Jackster replies. I believe he panted his rims black as well.
Its likely that your rims were not prepped properly. Keep in mind that you're dealing with a part of the car that comes in frequent contact with grease, oil, brake dust, dirt, and worst of all... Tire Shine! My suggestion would be to hit the area you intent to paint with a 180 grit sandpaper, follow up with a 320 grit, and finally wet sand with a 1000+ grit. Then go at them very thoroughly with a Wax/Grease remover. Only one swipe per rag, otherwise you're just swirling the grease around. Lastly, hit them with a pre-cleaner. I would then suggest a light coat of adhesion promoter as your initial coat. Follow up with your coats of paint, leaving adequate time to flash before each coat. I'd probably recomend using a tack cloth inbetween coats to remove airborn particles that land on the paint.
If anyone has any paint related questions, I'm here. I've been doing custom paint work for about 10 years now.
