Anyone know if you can use the key fob to roll down the windows? My buddy's car if he holds his unlock button down it rolls down the windows. Anyone know if the pat does it? Didn't see it anywhere in the manual so im guessing not. Thanks!

Some aftermarket companies sell a modification to allow this such as the one below I had for my Passat:

The install consisted of only splicing into a few wires.

I'm guessing it is just a matter of a savy electrical guy figuring out how to make it work on a Patriot.

Just like our Mini Cooper did. Excellent feature that should have been included in the Pat. (actually, it rolled down both windows and opened the sunroof)

No, the Jeep techs are ignoring you because if they had to splice a wire or two and do some programming in every Patriot sold, they'd lose soooooo much money. ;)

Even my Mom's 2002 C-Class does that (opens/closes the windows and sunroof), and even the new $16k VW Rabbit does that too, if you put the key in the door lock and then twist and hold the key.

Oh my gosh. I have the key fob thingie and I have never used the key. Memo to self: Check to see if the actual keys work in the door locks!!!!
