Hi, first post.
I bought an 09 compass last week and the temperature gage reads no more than 1/4 warm.
Now that the outside temperature is -20c, the interior is not warming up very well.
I would call it cold inside after 10 minutes of warmup.
Does the compass run extra cold, or could this be an overcooling issue?

You need to cover your radiator somehow, at -20c you can cover the whole radiator and be OK. Your Compass will warm up faster and stay that way.

Silencer, if your vehicle won't warm up, something is wrong. They should get nice 'n comfy even at -30˚C. Mine does. If your Compass is still under warranty, take it to the dealer and get it fixed.

I agree with the folks above. Mine also heats up, in fact a bit too hot after 5-10 minutes.

My Temperature gauge sits just under 1/2 all the time.
