Jeep did this frequently back in the 90's and early 2000's. It was brought to the Erie County Fairgrounds in the Buffalo area several times. It was definitely worth checking out. They brought vintage and concept Jeeps, they had a store selling heavily discounted Jeep stuff like caps and T's for $5.00. The first time, the gave out a pretty nice cap to the participants. All the events featured an excavated outdoor obstacle course where you could test drive all the current models. The last time they came to town they also excavated a second obstacle course for folks to bring their own Jeeps and play. That was particularly fun. Maybe FIAT is going to bring this traveling event back to other cities. It always drew a great crowd.
